2007 FIRST Championship - April 12, 13 & 14 - Atlanta, GA

This is the week. The 2007 FIRST International Championships are happening at the Georgia Dome April 12 - 14th. DO you best to take advantage of the educational and highly motivational event.

If your worried about parking and getting in and out of the event the don't. When we went last year we easily got a parking spot in a lot across the street from the Dome for about $5.

Unfortunately this is the case because of the lack of non-team related spectators. This is an amazing event, it is free to the public and not many people go just to watch and learn.

The best part is that the "Pits", where the teams are working on the robots are open for anyone to see and visit. The kids and coaches love to talk about their robots, many teams have funky consumes and hair does, plus most teams give away team pins for the kids.

Come down and have fun it is only 2.5 hours from Greenville, SC.

If you cannot come down, but want to see the event NASA TV will be broadcasting live Friday and Saturday. They will also stream some events via the Internet.
